Habit Tips to Live By - Failure is NOT an Option
What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? Let's find out!
We have turned the concept of trying something and if we don't get the result we expect into a word that we have attached horrible meaning to...Failure. The thing is, it's JUST a word. Words don't have power over us, the meaning behind them does. Still, it's hard to change the meaning of a word we have used in our lives for so long. From now on, create a habit of using the word Learn instead. When you try something, you either get the result you want, or you learn, and that learning will help you eventually get the result you are after if you apply it.
Tiny Habit Recipe - After I think "I have failed" at something, I will immediately correct myself and say, "no, I learned how to do it better" and I will smile.
The Collective Collection
I am NOT an affiliate of any of these products. I just use them and think they are cool.
This is a section where I highlight some of my favorite items related to Health. Wealth. Happiness and Home. Click on the picture to be taken to more information.
Health - Kerasal
It's sandal weather, and if you are cringing at the thought of showing off those tootsies, I have a habit product for you. Kerasal is an odor-free ointment that contains salicylic acid which is great for breaking down and sloughing off tough calluses and dry skin. I put some on in the morning before my walk for extra exfoliating power. Taking care of our feet is so important. Dry cracked feet can easily get infected so keep them soft and supple and smile...it's sandal season!
Wealth - Pare Down Your Subscriptions with Paypal
How many subscriptions are you paying for every month that you aren't even using? The average person is spending $237 a month on subscriptions and using less than half of them every month. That's at least $118 you could be saving per month. The first step is to download all of your banking and credit card activity to determine exactly what those subscriptions are (don't forget the one's that bill annually). Then, cancel those you don't use monthly and transfer the ones you want to keep over to something like PayPal. You can easily cancel your subscription right from their site without having to search for how to do it on each website.
Quick Hunts
Speaking of subscriptions, the latest craze is adventure boxes that you can have delivered to your home and you and a friend or significant other, kids, or a group can search for treasure, or solve a crime/mystery. Why not skip the expense and plan your own? QuickHunts offers a paid and free treasure hunts you can customize and print.
